The 21st edition of Sirha Lyon brought together nearly 210,000 professionals for 5 days, affirming its position as the largest global food service event in the world and its economic power for the entire sector.

By highlighting the strong dynamism of professionals and their innovations, Sirha Lyon is paving the way for a sector in perpetual evolution and with major international, ecological and technological challenges.

The Sirha Food Forum saw more than 60 guests, including influential chefs Thierry Marx, Alain Ducasse and Maura Colagreco. The rich program of interviews, masterclasses and round tables highlighted the current challenges of the sector on the basis of a daily theme taking up the Sirha Dynamics of 2023:

International competitions at the heart of Sirha Lyon

Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie (World Pastry Cup) 2023

The Grand Final of the 2023 Pastry World Cup chaired by Pierre Hermé and under the honorary presidency of Cédric Grolet, saw Japan impose itself, in particular thanks to its exceptional creations on the theme of climate change. The French team finished in 2nd place ahead of Italy.

Bocuse d'Or 2023

The Bocuse d'Or, under the chairmanship of Jérôme Bocuse, with Dominique Crenn as Honorary President, rewarded the Danish candidate Brian Mark Hansen.
