8 teams composed of 2 participants will be coached by a selection of holders of the ‘Meilleur Ouvriers de France’ distinction 

  • 4 French teams
  • 4 European teams

The jury will be presided over by Meilleur Ouvrier de France François MULETTE and highly qualified Artisan Butchers who have an experience in contests.

Indeed, the Artisan Butcher trade is changing fast and the contests evolve at the same pace. Beyond the technical aspect of the contest:

-          CARVING / CUTTING

-          BONING

-          SEPARATION

-          DRESSING

-          PEELING

-          STRINGING  

-          PRESENTATION

-          DECORATION IN TUNE WITH THE THEME

Particular attention and specific marking will focus on the use of the products so as to show consumers the new trends of the trade, including wellbeing and naturally good food.

After inhering excellent know-how and skills "SAVOIR-FAIRE EN HERITAGE" the French teams will be keen to represent their profession and the future of their trade.

  • 1,600 € 1st place

  • 1,100 € 2nd place

  • 800 € 3rd place
  •  600 € 4th to 8th place

  •    200 €  Best presentation “Butchery speciality”                                                             

  •    200 € Special prize Best presentation “Un Savoir Faire en Héritage” Presented by CFBCT
