Cheesemongers continue to innovate
This year, in addition to an always more complete and creative Coupe de France, the Union des Fromagers d’Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (UFAURA) innovates with a new competition!
Committed to help the professionals from the hotels, restaurants and catering sectors to give the cheese platter the place it deserves, the profession decided to put this alliance in the spotlight.
Thus was born the 1st One Cheesemonger / One Chef contest!
8 couples will be provided with food supplies and of course one cheese, all of them identical to every contestant and discovered at the last moment, to offer the jury 6 tasting plates. On Espace Cuisine en Scène, they will have 2 hours to meet a requirement: cook cheese! And make it a feast, of course!
